I was not allowed to attend cooking class in secondary school because I had to take Latin lessons for high school preparation - I became a food engineer. And as a 12-year-old I actually wanted to become a farmer: Milking cows, driving a tractor, driving a combine harvester…
I love the Italian language, Italian food, Italian wine - and Swiss chocolate.
I’m a passionate knitter.
I preferred to play football with the boys to play with rubber balls with the girls during school breaks. I was the best goalkeeper on the pitch - and chose volleyball and fencing as my sport.
My flute teacher dismissed me with the words: “This makes no sense”. Today I play three different flutes and yodel.
Teamwork with my best friend during the math exams helped us to get good grades and enjoy the subject. Today I love beeing a math tutor.
Burnout – rien ne va plus – and I buy my first dog. Everybody says “you're crazy!” 6 months later I am again drug-free and happy.
Homebirth in Niederglatt - seems to be impossible - until Gabi-Midwive shows up and even postpones her holidays, because our second youngest does not stick to his older brothers' guidelines ;)
You can't breastfeed, your breasts are way too small, I couldn't do that either (my mother) - I breastfed our four boys for a year each (and felt I enjoyed tons of chocolate during that time).
I admire people who can make quick decisions in all clarity.
I love to postpone important tasks: Are the animals already fed? Is the washing machine already full? Does it still have mails? Can I just save the world real quick?
Telephone with turntable? I still had it in my student flat!
I admire people who can touch people's souls with their music.
I love wild geese when they fly chattering through the air, I love chickens when they sunbathe, I love titmice with their mischief - I love birds - I love flying.

There have been many highs in my life - and deep lows. Our second son passed away very early. And yet I embrace life in all its colorful glory and dance it - because life is an easy dance.
I’ve raised four boys successfully. Thereby lost love and found it again - I can no longer imagine a life without tendernesses and love.
A life without a dog? Not worth living. All you need is love and a dog.
